Juan and I have had some great luck with timing this past week. In addition to the Balloon Festival and the Lucha Libre fight, we happened to spend a night in Dolores Hidalgo on November 20, better known here as Día de la Revolucion. We parked and slept right on the main square and when I woke up to go to the bathroom, there was a mile-long parade waiting to walk by us.
We have seen a few parades already, and every town seems to have a ratio of one marching band per every 1,000 people.
