The last two or three weeks felt like a constant goodbye. I think we met friends for drinks or dinner every single night. While this was great, I was looking forward to camping.

Finally last night, we drove to a spot in front of the Pacific. We arrived a few minutes after sunset.

 

This was our first camping meal of the trip: beef tacos, guacamole, beer.

 

It was foggy this morning:

 

After breakfast and a slow morning, we kept driving south. We turned off El Rosario and went to the coast for a little bit. There, Stephanie tried to collect some shells:

 

And Milo played with a stick and made friends with the local birds:

Tomorrow we’ll make it to Guerrero Negro, and then we’ll be one day away from the warm beaches of the Mar de Cortéz.
