Can you believe we’ve only had Milo for 100 days? We can’t believe it–just like we can’t believe anyone could ever give this guy up. Sometimes we joke that we should find his old owner(s) and send them photos of him around the world, kind of like the traveling dwarf from Amelie. Milo is such a part of our lives that yesterday I was thinking about how we spent May in Vancouver and I imagined him there with us.
Milo on Day One with us: terrified at his new fate outside the San Francisco pound
Meeting wild birds in Baja
Assisting the mechanic
Playing with Papa
Overcoming his fear of water
A scary lady tries to abscond with Milo on the ferry from La PazRoof dog in Mazatlan
Milo tries to drive away while Juan cuts a key, only to discover he can’t reach the pedals
Searching for the elusive waterfall
Milo enjoying one of Morelia’s beautiful parks
Posing for a photo in Tapalpa
Enjoying a boat ride on Lake Catemaco
Helping to clean up the kitchen
Milo at a Volkswagen rally in Guadalajara
Missing his friend Mosey, with an early birthday gift from the Barnes
Camouflaged in Desierto de Los Leones, Mexico DF
It is also Milo’s birthday this week. He’s one year old! Happy Birthday Milo!
Hard to believe it was May when you were here in Vancouver….yikes, that’s crazy….we talked then about this trip and how you wanted to be in Cancun for the “end” of the year, or life as we know it and here you are!!!
Sergio likely told you that we’ll be Bocas Del Toro, Panama over Christmas, so we’ll be thinking of you, even though we’ll be a little further south.
Take care and safe and happy travels:)
I know, May seems like a lifetime ago. Have a wonderful time in Panama, and be sure to take notes to pass on suggestions for us!
The picture of your dog on the boat is priceless! Have fun with him around the world..
